Đầu tiên cho 200g ngũ cốc, 100g hạt phỉ vào chảo rang cho chín vàng, thơm lừng và tắt bếp để nguội. Làm siro: cho 2 muỗng siro bắp, 1 muỗng đường, 1 muỗng bột quế, 1/4 muỗng muối vào chén và khuấy cho thật đều. Sau đó cho hoa quả sấy khô vào tô lớn cùng hạt phỉ, ngũ cốc rồi rưới siro lên, trộn đều đến khi đường tan hết.
Lót một lớp giấy nến lên khay nướng, phế thêm lớp bơ mỏng và đổ hỗn hợp ngũ cốc vào dàn đều, tạo thành lớp dày 1.5cm. Rắc thêm lớp mè đen lên trên mặt. Mở lò ở 170 độ trước 10 phút, cho khay bánh vào lò và nướng từ 12 - 15 phút là bánh chín giòn. Lấy bánh ra để nguội một chút, cắt thành từng miếng vừa ăn.
